Books Read in 2008
Hope nobody minds a newbie jumping the gun on this year-long topic, but I honestly couldn't resist! For a few years now I have been an avid list maker for my books and this one is always a fun topic for me.
Anyway....book number one for me is: Fear Itself by Jonathan Nasaw. Not the scariest read by Nasaw, but still fairly well written.

I gave-up on my Edgar Allen Poe stories because they were dragging. So I picked up Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I finished it in four hours flat.
It is my top favorite book!!!!

Soccer is a game in which a handful of fit men run around for one and a half hours watched by millions of people who could really use the exercise.

Finished Pretties and Specials by Scott Westerfeld a little while ago.
Read Go Ask Alice by Anonymous. It's a story about a girl who's life got ruined because some jerks got her addicted to drugs.
It really pulled at my heartstrings.....I wanted to cry, it was so sad. But definitely a book everyone should read.
Also read Boy Toy by Barry Lyga. Love, love, love it!!!! His writing is so honest and so gripping. This is a great book, but I would only to recommend it to people about 15, 16.

They can tend to be a little draggy. My 10th grade English teacher was obsessed with Edgar Allen Poe and we read him all year. Luckily for us, as much as she loved him she hated to read papers. She would have us draw comics of the stories insteadravenwing989 wrote:I gave-up on my Edgar Allen Poe stories because they were dragging.

Thought I would share.

"To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started, and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus and a clown killed my dad."
