Welcome!
I've read The Lovely Bones last year. My friend keeps pressuring me to read Flowers in the Attic and every other V.C. Andrews book.

Hi.

Post by vampiremnm7 »

Hey, I go by Vanessa, I love to read and write, and I'm currently writting a book of my own I plan to get published eventualy. I'm only young - 13 - but I'm very mature for my age. I love vampires, the dark, the night, the moon, and follow the religion of wicca. My friends assigned me a prase: I can be your best friend or your worst nightmare.
And it's true, I can be friendly, or get on the wrong side of me and you should get running for the hills.

1. Favorite Genre: Horror/Thriller.
2. Favorite Author: Hmmm, probably a toss up between Stephenie Meyer and L.J. Smith.
3. Favorite Author that's not in Favorite Genre: Dunno.
4. How/Why you picked your Member-Name: Um, not sure really.
5. How you found IBDoF: Looking for sites to publish my book.
6. Name one book you would never recommend to a friend: Um...there was one but it was so bad I forgot the name of it.
7. Top 5 books/series: Twilight saga, The Vampire Diaries, Charmed, Hex, Harry Potter series.

Hi, I'm Rishi. I'm new to the forums.

1. Favorite Genre
Science Fiction
Fantasy

2. Favorite Author
This is difficult but I would have to say its between C.S. Friedman and Orson Scott Card.

3. Favorite Author that's not in Favorite Genre
My favorite author outside of sci fi/fantasy would have to be Michael Crichton.

4. How/Why you picked your Member-Name
My name is Rishi. I like to just add an O to the end of it.

5. How you found IBDoF
I'm a big fan of David. B. Coe. I've read all of his books from the LonTobyn series to the Blood of the Southlands.

6. Name one book you would never recommend to a friend
Don't start the Lost Fleet series. Its not the best but once you get into it by the 4th book its okay.

7. Top 5 books/series
In no particular order:
1. Ender/Ender's Shadow series by Orson Scott Card
2. Runelords series by David Farland
3. Coldfire Trilogy by C.S. Friedman *Highly recommend*
4. Eiden Myr Trilogy by Terry McGarry
5. LonTobyn series by David b. Coe

I don't read NEARLY as much as I would like to, but when I do, about 1 out of 3 is chick lit (mostly romance).
