I think I'm having a Julie & Julia moment.

...
Jolene's Tomato Crumb Coffee Cake
Jolene looks ..., looks ... scrumptious like a Baked Alaska! The Miss Piggy of the kitchen.

Spoiler: show
Even I can hear she (?) doesn't speak New-Yorker nor Angelino slang.
Can someone tell me where her accent hails from?

A friend showed me this and you can guess my first thoughts when I read the title of the show.

Easy to grow, easy to store..

I love chilli in all its eyewatering glory but I'm not too foolhardy to munch on the hot ones.

I was hoping for a more active role of the dog in the recipe; such as cleaning the pan after use, at least! (or licking the hands of the cook, between two phases of the recipe.. yummy-yummy...)

You have some ambitious hopes there. :)

In a show hosted by an invisible fellow called Francis (which I find hilarious for some reason), a chef called Chef and an implausible, coiffured dog on a stool called Dog, I had to resign myself to a less energetic dog until I saw some signs of life in it here:

I have not gone through many of these recipes but my heart goes out to Dog; given that his/her sense of smell is quite highly developed the sessions that have meat recipes must be torture.
