Wouldn't you rather just be a
paramecium so your
cilia moments would move you more than the silly flutter of your eyelashes [Latin]?

Was the humor too abstruse, the science fiction to capricious, the characters too silly, the story of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy too strange for me to fully appreciate?

Mangling metaphors of "hard " science fiction, can't I want more meat on the bones of science fiction, even if meat is the softer component than the bones?
Am I doomed to be told "gristle is good for you; eat your peas and cartilage" by fans of books I don't like?

Speaking of meat on the bones of SF, did you read any of LMB's Vorkosiverse books?

Why can't all space opera be written with the skill of LMB, providing meat, bones to gnaw, marrow and a tasty barbecue sauce?
I wonder...Will there be more to know of Miles?

Is there any reason you should not read all of LMB's remarkable books so you can compete in the LMBQG?
