Granted. It is. However as in your favorite movie, Groundhog's Day it will remain May 17th for ever and ever. So you have time to learn a lot of skills, in particular to sculpt ice, which is quite appropriate for you

Granted: for two reasons. One, it is the Norwegian Constitution day so I will get lots of really good food and gjetost which I only get once a year because its so damn expensive in Oregon. And two, May 17th is my first dragonboat race in Tacoma, Washington, which I'm really really excited to go to. Now, I must kill anyone who reads this for possessing this information.

I wish I could go see Obama when he comes to town in a few days or so.

I have Norwegian heritage. Although I get crap for having such watered down Norwegian blood. Technically I'm only 1/8 but I look Norwegian and I'm very much Norwegian at heart. I've sadly never been there but I love the country very very much and my family (the Norwegian ones) make it so that I can celebrate the culture.

That's pretty cool. But why would you get crap for being part Norwegian? I like to pretend that I have Viking heritage somewhere in my British ancestery but I really don't have a clue. Norway produces the best black metal bands.

Heh, but nah. I have always felt quite an attraction to Scandinavian countries in general. Plus I like the whole 12 months compulsory military service thing. Can you speaketh the Norwegian?
