It's a short story and it's a mystery. I barely remember it, so bare with me.

All I remember is that it's about this guy who goes to this artist (I think) and he sees a picture of a gravestone and a man being hung. Basically, it was a picture of the protagonist's death.

Sorry that I can't remember more! Help would be great. I know I really liekd it and I want to read it again.
