Anne Rice - Interview with the vampire - 9

Post by mrdude »

<img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/0345337662.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg" align="left">Interview with the vampire by Anne Rice tells the story of the life of a vampire from the point of him becoming a vampire until the present time of the telling of the story itself. The entire book is in the form of an interview between the vampire Louis and a young man whoes name is not given.

I found this book verry enjoyable, the descriptians and languge this author uses are fantastic and make you want to read more and more. I was worried that the story being told in first person would grow old but I found myself forgetting all about the style in wich the novel was written in and rather becoming completley drawn into the story itself. Definatley worth the read, oh and yes it is much better than the movie, which I also enjoyed greatly.

I really enjoyed it too. Excellent book.

Thankfully, it's not as swimming with excessive homo-eroticism as some of her later works.

Sometimes I think Anne Rice was a flaming gay man born into a woman's body.

I love this book. Definitely one of my favorites. I love the movie too, but the book is just so much better. I've yet to read the rest of the Vampire Chronicles, but I'm working on it.

Hi pokey

First of all, welcome to the IBDoF. Lots of good things to read here!

I just wanted to let you know that your avatar is a little big - for purposes of clean page-loading and margins on this site, you should try to keep it down to around 88 x 88 pixels, or about 6 KB.

Hope you like it here...

Sorry about that. It was small enough, but then I guess it changed to a hotlinking picture.

Is this better?
