Suggestion: Perhaps the rules should be reposted at beginning of each new character so people don't lose track of them. We're only supposed to ask one question a day, right?
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go

1. Is the person fictional? YESThe group can ask 20 questions to try to figure out the identity of the mystery person.
I will only answer yes or no (maybe a little more info).
A guess will be sent ONLY via PM - and does not count towards the question count.
Only one guess per person per day allowed.
The first person to correctly guess the person is the winner, and gets one (1) Sherlock point.![]()

Umm - if they appear at all in books, they are book associated by my personal definition of 'book associated'. I guess I should have asked 'are we guaranteed that the mystery character will either be an author(/illustrator/etc.) of books, or a character who has appreared in books?'magicfan241 wrote:Question X: we are guaranteed that these characters are all book-associated, right? Mind you, I think it would be a little offside to choose, say, barbie as the choice - although she (it?) appears in books (aimed at two year olds), we hardly have a fair chance of getting it.

I wasn't assuming that - I was trying to illustrate that I thought that the possible interpretation of your 'no' answer in too liberal a fashion in the future could be a bad thing, and provide an example of what I though was a technically legal but unsporting choice.

Two wrong guesses so far....come one you wusses...you are going to need more answers than that to get this character. I really hate to break it to you like that, but there are currently several hundred characters that fit all options as shown by the questions, you should narrow it down a little more.

NB: Ghost sent a guess (a very convinving one) to me by accident. I don't know if he knows yet, or if he has resent it, but in all fairness that guess should take precedence over the rest. Just mentioning it to make sure ghost doesn't lose out.
In fact: MF, did you get a guess from ghost? - if not, I'll forward it to you.

OK, ready with another one:
Who am I? - 20 Question Game
I am thinking of a person, real or fictional, living or dead.
The group can ask 20 questions to try to figure out the identity of the mystery person.
I will only answer yes or no (maybe a little more info ).
A guess will be sent ONLY via PM - and does not count towards the question count.
Only one guess per person per day allowed.
The first person to correctly guess the person is the winner, and gets one (1) Sherlock point.
