Oh, man. I SUCK at this game.
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go

Well, first I thought of one of the Belgariad characters, but no wolves in the family...

Then I thought Lerris, but no staff or cudgel and (duh) the author isn't dead. Just realized that.

Then I thought Aragon, but no royal birth.

So, now I'm *clueless*
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go

OK:

Who am I? - 20 Question Game

I am thinking of a person, real or fictional, living or dead.

The group can ask 20 questions to try to figure out the identity of the mystery person.

I will only answer yes or no (maybe a little more info ).

A guess will be sent ONLY via PM - and does not count towards the question count.

Only one guess per person per day allowed.

The first person to correctly guess the person is the winner, and gets one (1) Sherlock point.

Here is clue #1: At the end of the familiar story, the character in question is holding a sharp blade.

is the book fantasy (or speculative fiction of some sort - although since we have already excluded sci-fi I can't see what else fits there)?
