BKM: You might want to wait for the previous bumps on your head to heal before tempting Kilty to administer a few more :P

trying to change my behavior by beating me in the head is likely to be a singularly unrewarding activity for whomever might be trying to discipline me (assuming, of course, that they aren't just sadistic gits).

i'm a cross-breed german-scots and they just don't get much more bull-headed than we do.

i can't wait for the resident phrenologist to tell me what my horns mean .....

Perhaps... as these posts suggest... the top ranking of all should be "BRAD" and should go to he who has the most posts. Then... in an interesting twist, if someone got more posts than Brad they would become Brad, kinda like "Being John Malkovic"

Well, lesse ...

According to my calculations, if we project Trebor's current daily post rate (12, as of this writing, and still climbing) against my own (6.7), Trebor should pass me in roughly (solves both linear equations) ... 68 days at the 840 post mark. If you time it just right, you can celebrate your hard won victory on Labor Day ;)

BKM has already fallen by the wayside, with a daily rate of 2.5 ... I guess he never recovered from that 384 post all-nighter last month

I am just trying to add to the falvor of a great site. I actually am not nearly as worried about quantity as quality... but since I have not quality I will have to go for a little of both.

Lesse, 20 posts per day ... that boots your point of interception to 23 days at post 494

A very impressive debut. But can you sustain it ?

Most likely not... unless we get more regulars to talk to. I am going to start posting book reviews (since that is what this site was designed for), and try to post a few each week... if nothing else people will be able to disagree with my book likes / dislikes adn that should prompt some discussion.

Brad - my goal is not to have the most posts... but just to talk with other who love reading. That is what drew me to this site... and what will keep me coming back :D

Amen. That's exactly what drew me here. My own post count has trailed off considerably, after an initial surge. Anyway, great to make your acquaintance. :D

Perhaps a light harted "war" is what we need to add a surge of content. I only hope that this will be the result, you know... more reviews, more writers, more ideas.

I am all for a "The Mouse that Roared" war.

Actually, I find "Literature Addict" to be quite fashionable :)

To be honest, I've completely forgotten what the progression I sent to kilt was ... I have no idea what's next, or how many is required to get there.

Dear Brad... I regret to inform you that the Stripper that you grabbed was in fact a Transvestite named Mark. Perhaps in the future you should not drink so much champaigne before making your selection.

P.S. I hope you and Mark and the D.O.D. are very happy for years to come.

Does this mean Kilty's gotta pay me a stipend, and I have to publish in order to maintain my tenure ?
