Trebor: I have Absolutely No Idea where I'm going. Just improvising off the top of my head like Who's Line is it Anyway? that's all. An unfocused, creative ramble...seeing what sort of wierd bizarre strange notions my subconscious can throw out...

Thought maybe someone could add a signpost...I seem to have stepped off the path into a dark, impossibly tangled forest... :help:

Brad - I think we might have enough people reading this forum to keep this bad boy going for a while now... what do you think?
I agree.

The thread went dormant for a bit, due to insufficent patronage ... but also because some RL "issues" distracted & demotivated me from working on anything which took more than a few minutes of easy effort.

I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes from here, and possibly getting re-involved myself

/me pauses to get caught up with aunflin's posts ... and groans aloud.

Hey, I did warn people that the "reptiloid vs pickleoid" thingee would eventually come back to haunt us :slap:

Yes please. Hopefully, you can come up with something less garbled and erratic... I hope.

...Or should I just go ahead and make another rambling post? I really want to. This is kinda fun--if a little embarrassing. Or does someone else wanna go next? Guess I'll wait a bit and see. Gotta leave to get my hair cut in about forty minutes...

I'm just wondering how the replitian thing can speak English (I wrote it, I know...) or how Eugene (that's what I called him, right) can speak "reptiloid?" And has he really been transported into another version/possibility of reality, or is he merely having vivid dream/vision...? Could it be like Revelation "I John saw..."?

Who knows....

Any comments or suggestions or :help: ? I could go on forever, rambling erratically, adding unnecessary complications, roving into the far distance of imagination... But it would be nice to get another perspective...

I'll keep going, though. This hour between posts is a killer...

ROFLOL

I know it's hard Aunflin - but have patience through the weekend - basically from Fri midday through Mon midday EST - are our "lightest" traffic times.

I could post some of the traffic reports - but that kind of stuf is sort of boring for most people...

I am enjoying your writing - and I think you do have a bit of a flair.

With so many posts - they could all be combined into one monster post if you like...

- "Vollyball" is open to anyone at all - the idea is to write posts sort of like the tv show "whose line is it anyway?"

A large part of the fun is to see where everybody else takes your story and what they do with it...

You can glance at the first post in Volleyball - for Writers and that will tell you roughly the idea - although we have pretty much done away with the requirement to change genre's...

Yes, britz, please post. I feel like I'm hogging all the action--and its making me feel guilty. 'Twould be interesting to see something different thrown into the fray.

(I'm suprised my posts turned out as well as they did, considering I improvised the whole thing--it's difficult but easier than retyping pre-written material. Or so I think.)

Three repeated posts? :slap: Oops. Very unintentional--if they were mine, that is...of course they were. Knowing my luck.

Anyone else wanna throw a wrench in the gears? I'm waiting--albeit impatiently... I found the "ice cream post" quite interesting and enjoyable. :smokin:

Think I'm gonna wait a bit to post another rambling account. Feels like a giant took a wedge and split my head in half... :(

...come one, come all...lest the lizardman return... :deviate:

Patience, my friend.

We often went several days to a week or more between posts back when we got started.

I'll get caught up & jump in eventually.

Ok, caught up now.

I can tell your'e a big fan of H.P. Lovecraft ... and I also see hints of Harlan Ellison's radically swinging perspectives peeking through here and there

Well done ! :thumb:

You're very good, BTW.

I was initially leaning towards not getting overly complicated though, in order to make it easier for others to join in ... some people also clamored for some more serious plots to play with, so we're good to go.

Hmmm ... where to begin.

Well, then both authors are definitely up your alley, because you write a little like both of them. :D

Ok, I posted.

/me flushes the toilet.

How's that for taking a slapshot at the plot ? :deviate:
