I tend to skip any and all describing words when using dialogue. I let the text speak for itself, without the need for any words. It works pretty well, but works even better if you use the punctuation and capatilization to is' greatest effect. All caps is a woderful way of shouting, while, a short clipped phrase with a shh at the beginning is a nice way of showing that the conversation is whispered.

I'll think of ways of using all the features that you describe with one work in the conversation itself.

no. it is broad cast either way. you could not say 'yesterday I casted that lout into the dungeon'.

broad cast comes from the similarity to the seed sowing methos known as broad casting - simply throwing the seeds onto the soil.

I'm with Kvetch - I always use "broadcast" rather than "broadcasted" for both past and present tenses.

Does that mean the Un-Patriot Act cops are gonna haul me in for interrogation?
