Fortunately, you still have it available for later use.

Unfortunately, Kvetch is so exhauseted from evading his homocidal niece and trying to keep the biscuit crumbs cleaned up that he will probably be too knackered to play with his new computer.
(See my British slang? Hah hah! I'm getting better at it.)

But there's no sickness, no fear or danger

Fortunately, I believe I understand that the reason Kvetch was still able to function was that he was fueling himself with coffee--and the caffeine was giving him t he stamina to keep on keepin' on.
The British idiom is just a little different. I find it rather refreshing.
Or at least different.

Please ignore.

Let me reword that.
Fortunately, there is nothing unfortunate in being unable to find anything unfortunate, which is very fortunate indeed.
I have a sugar head ache. I ate a mounds bar and it's trying to fry my brain.

fortunately, before cho was *whap*ed back to work she explained what I meant.
perhaps I should have used 'due to coffee' rather than 'down to coffee'

Unfortunately we all live so far away that we can't get together and hoot and laugh over the on-going story of the adventurers and act out some of the more hilarious parts.
(Like whapping ECM with a mallet!)

fortunately, our time zones coincide enough that we can be online together, and can hit ECM with various blunt weapons by proxy.

Unfortunately, we cannot hear the joyous melody of ECM yipping in agony. However, I will soon be able to write it into the story, which will be just as good. Almost.

It probably won't happen today--as that scene is quite a bit in the future. But there should be some good action later today when the kids are gone and I have no interruptions.
(Think about 4:30 my time; so squeak in a nap if you can. Heh heh)
