Unfortunately, the times you cannot may be the most dire and necessary times you need to know.
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go

Fortunately, the chances of that are slim.

Fortunately, it's less of a chance than a big chance.

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing ennui about the chances, so I'm going to hurl a hand grenade over there. *KA-POW* That was fun.

Fortunately, I was watching
Kate & Leopold and thus did not get caught in the explosion.
Last night I watched
Master and Commander:The Far Side of the World for the 2nd time in 3 days.
I am pronouncing words like a British duchess now....

Fortunately, I do, and you may not have my copy.
Call me "Your Grace", please.
I must retire now, Hunter. It is late and I am weary...

Fortunately today is a brand new day, and perhaps Laurie can come back to play some more!
(BTW, I liked Kate and Leopold . Hugh Jackman is delightful eye candy. Yummy. I haven't bought Master and Commander yet; I need to do that. I did buy The Last Samuri , but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. )

Unfortunately, I really didn't like the Last Samuri, it was a good movie and all, it's just Tom Cruise as the last samuri !? Come on!

Fortunately, I am back, if only to correct your reprehensible spelling. It is Samur
ai .

Fortunately, you (like misery) love company - Cho spelled it incorrectly first.

Fortunately, your skull absorbed most of the blunt force trauma before the mallet cracked me.
Whew. Thanks.
Cool new avatar, by the way.

Unfortunately, I still absorbed most of the force.
Thanks about the avatar, but alas, it's only a temp.

Fortunately, you are younger and haven't been hit in the head as many times as I have, so it's better that you got it than me.

Fortunately, you didn't land on any sharp objects left on the floor, else you would have made a crater in your skull, which is always ill advised, you know.

Unfortunately, I think I may have gotten a concussion from it nonetheless.

Unfortunately, it's very annoying and painful.
EDIT: I got rid of all the stupid injury stories and painful complaining.

Fortunately, my dear, there are beings called doctors whose sole purpose in life is to help people who have damaged themselves in some way. PLEASE go see one ASAP.
(I thought you were kidding about the concussion. Now I shall worry about you until I know you have been seen by a professional and aren't about to keel over on me.)

Unfortunately, I don't like to complain (which is why I edited my previous post).
