Cool - here we go then:
Build with honest iron; build with stone; build with wood. If you cannot build with those, do not build.
It's a metaphor of human bloody existence, a dragon. And if that wasn't bad enough, it's also a bloody great hot flying thing.

Sardit to Lerris?

Post by Scooterboy »

How about Lerris's uncle Sardit in the Magic of Recluce?

Ok, expanding the quote a bit...
Build with honest iron; build with stone; build with wood. If you cannot build with those, do not build.
For while what you have built may last, while it may tower into the night skies and mirror the sun by day, you cannot afford the cost.
It's a metaphor of human bloody existence, a dragon. And if that wasn't bad enough, it's also a bloody great hot flying thing.

Here we go.
(Book and speaker)
"Then I would say that music is beauty, and there is too little beauty in a cold world."

It is not the quote I really wanted to use but since I couldnt remember it exacly, I took this one instead. At least after more then 2 hours of searching, I will remember to write down the quote, book and page next time.

Hmmm...that quote sounds ever so familiar. However, I can't quite place it at the moment.

Anyway, I just wanted to say, "Welcome to the IBDoF, Learion!" :)

Yo, Learion.

Sounds like Archform

(note to Learion: you don't have to acknowlege that guess either way as it does not include speaker details - it is merely a suggestion to others)

To bring it back down into sight. However close Torybear was, I think the good old cryogenic storage is needed :cold:
