Quack quack indeed

/me wishes he were present when Herr Field Marshal gets sent to the firing squad

I was briefly tempted to try penning a mini St. Crispin's Day kinda speech, ala "Henry V", but I gave up when I noticed I was already pushing 1,500 words. Besides, speeches like that are very tough to write, so I just dotted my i's, crossed my t's, and stuffed in a "... we brave ... we few ..." reference, and called it a night.

Say, I wonder if ECM will notice the "Major Echus" reference.

how /why did the Nonoxyl-9 get inside the duck.
Perhaps Herr Field Marshal's condom broke.

Anyway, I think I'll have to decline the continuity point ... that was a left field kinda post, and the connection to the prior post was nearly non-existent.

/me pauses to pay homage to Ghost's 666th post. :worship:

Here's the source idea fragment that's been sitting in my E-Notes since July 22nd:
VB GENRE: Non-sequitur / Military Epigram

Do the combat swimmers schtick searching fallopian tubes for egg targets.

Ex:
"recon platoon reports egg found"
"well dont just sit there flagellating, launch a full assault ! Go find that egg, and pile on !"
Ideas occur to me, and I write em down and save em for later use ... all I did with this one was dig up my reminder and flesh it out :)

[Genre: Humor; Mad-lib]

It is hilarious so far

I have recieved word lists from Brad and Laurie so far :thumb: - I need at least two more assistants to submit their list of words to finish the post.

Anybody, please PM me with all of the following: adjective, adverb, noun, verb, color, part of the body, someone’s moniker, and a name of a famous song.

Dunno if anyone noticed, but I managed to squeeze in an insultingly alliterative etymological pun into the middle my allegorical rampage:

"... like a torturer adding insult to injury, he sprinkled the crushed remains of the clove with salt ..."
