Damn, I had the perfect quote, but I can't find it again now that I'm looking for it, so what I find in a pinch will have to do.

XXX is several words, I don't need the exact wording, just the meaning : so who are "I" and "he", and what is [XXX] ?

The quote felt like Cordelia's to me but I could not find it either in _Barrayar_ about either Vaagen (or Henri) saving Miles, or in _Mirror Dance_ about Mark finding Miles on Jackson Whole...
