Yup! You're up!

"Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges."

For extra credit, name the movie in which this was originally spoken, and a movie or a TV episode in which it was (approximately) quoted.

For triple credit, name the movie in which this was originally spoken, and two movies and/or TV episodes in which it was (approximately) quoted.

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre was the original.

I think two of the copies/parodies were Blazing Saddles and/or The Three Amigos.

I'm certain of the original, less so of the parodies.

Now had you quoted it as "steenkeeng badges", I would have recognised it.
I mean a Mexican accent like in "What Rodrigo Rodriguez waaants, Rodrigo Rodriguez geeets!", if you know what I mean, would have been a nicely obscure hint.

Right on the original, of course, and on Blazing Saddles. I'll take your word for it on ¡Three Amigos!. I've heard it some places I don't remember, and that could be one.

My favorite is from an episode of WKRP in Cincinnati, when it is spoken by Johnny Fever: "It was a minor misunderstanding one night with 145 Mexican cops. I thought they were soldiers. I said, 'Show me some badges.' The guy said, 'Badges? Ah, we don't need no stinking badges!'"

I quite understand. To this day my best friend from high school and I cannot hear the word "badge" without quoting the Blazing Saddles version, which your phonetic spelling so accurately reflects!

Let's keep this open. There are many others, in just about any media one can think of.

If there's one thing this last week has taught me, it's better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it.

That's a tough one.

Try this: "You had me at "hello."

Total Recall.

But Kilgore, when one guesses correctly, you need to inform them and then let THEM put up the next quote, not keep putting up quotes. The correct guesser gets to provide the next one.

And now the game's jammed completely.
Try this instead:
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

Sorry if I cut anyone off at the pass. Since the rules state, "You dont have to wait for confirmation if you think/know it to be right, and people can always go back and correct you," I figured if the responder had a new quote it would have been provided. I was just trying to keep things moving.
