Re: More amazon.com anonymous reviews controversy
This is no surprise, and is a lot more commonplace than people realize.
I've seen a lot of that sort of thing ... some of it even directed against some of our OADF authors too (most notably Charlie Pellegrino).
Few people bother to mention on Amazon whether or not they have a conflict of interest, or ties to a particilar author, when posting reviews. I almost always reveal such things in a footnote, but most people do not.

Ya know, I usually ask myself "Are you sure you want to do this?" before clicking on a Guardian link .. but that blogger summed up my thoughts pretty well.
It's largely (at least in the case of the Russian "historians" spat) a non-event.
I don't know that much about Dr. Pellegrino -- except what I've perused on here -- but bathroom walls have been around for a long time. People will always find a way to anonymously post hateful stuff in the public forum ..
You just kind of scratch your sister's name off, if you find it while you're in there doing your business, and move on .. well .. unless you were the one that wrote it there, I suppose.
