Library Facebook Page
Ok, along with all my other great ideas to promote our library, and libraries in general, I've created a page for it on Facebook. I'm sure some of you have seen it but I'd like more of you to see it, I really want the board to be impressed with the popularity of this and in order to do that I need to get a lot of fans on the page. *hint hint
* So if you could look it up and check it out and become a fan that would be great, anything I can do to promote this page!

Yeah I kind of droped the ball on that one, as someone else pointed out to me already (you know who you areZybahn wrote:What should I be looking for? A link would help, or at least the name of your library

Hope this helps, if it doesn't let me know and I'll do something else.

Oh I almost forgot, if you write on the wall or send me a message on the page, please don't refer to me as my name on here, I have family who check it and I'd get a lot of questions and grief for the name I choose

Ooooooooops!
Too late!
I finally found the page by myself, and did make a joke (I couldn't resist).
I did not actually use your userid here and call you SHG, but I did ask, jokingly, how many books there were about Harleys, about sweetes and about... . Fortunately, I did not ask what the third question was about, I just let it float about.. which might be even worse...
But you can erase it, I think, anything on one's own wall one can erase... unless you don't have full control on that page? Should I erase it myself (I think I can erase my own posts from any wall..)

I tried, but it wants me to login and I do not have a facebook account, and don't plan on getting one, as I don't see any need for me to have one!! I'm too old for all this young 'uns stuff!!!sweetharleygirl wrote:Yeah I kind of droped the ball on that one, as someone else pointed out to me already (you know who you areZybahn wrote:What should I be looking for? I did log in. (I've been being forced into it, anyway.)
The first friend it suggested was the president of our genealogy club, and the second was my granddaughter!, so I guess it's time that I logged on.
Now all my friends on facebook will have to teach this old lady how to use it.
Your site is great!
Sue

On a similair note, my missus wanted me to put up some shelves the other day. Now, im crap a DIY, so I went to the local library and said to the woman at the desk: "excuse me love, have you got any books on shelves?"
she looked around and said: "are you taking the p**s?"

'You can take our lives but you'll never take our freedom!' he screamed.
