I was a little bit disappointed:

a) your clothes are not in gold
b) your ears don't look like those of a donkey

j/k
Congrats, MK, and all my wishes of happiness.
I understand there are now 5 children in your household, presumably those who surround the happy pair in IMG_0090_2; well, you can certainly delegate some of the chores to the two elder girls, but I'd say both you and your wife look WAY too young to have such big girls.

Hehe, thanks VF. All the children have chore responsibilities.

The oldest child is 18 years old and I am 40. So far I have been lucky enough to have aged reasonably well (I attribute that to a good positive attitude and good red wine). Honestly though, I was the kid that looked 11 when I was 17. I looked 15 when I was 22. I hated that when I was younger but now I am enjoying the benefits of being such a late bloomer.

:)

Lara is 2 years younger than me ... and like me ... she's a generally happy person with a light in her heart at all times. She is also fond of a good red. :thumb:

Also, all seven of us play soccer for one team or another.

I also looked younger than I was when younger, which I hated (and I am vain enough to believe it it still true, now that I find it cool)
You did not join the http://WWW.IBDOF.COM group on Facebook created by Thomas Hugnes a.k.a the grim squeaker, did you? I posted there a photo of me... some time go and asked people to guess how old I was then. I'll try to retrieve it and post it here somehow (I'm terrible at this, I'll probably need some help)

btw, it is quite OK if you think of me as Fred, instead of Alfred, a lot of my friends do (Fredo is also OK, but rather French-sounding, or Italian, but I hate the form Freddy), but it is meaningless to cut Voralfred as VF="Voral"-"Fred".
"Vor" is a prefix for the aristocratic-warrior caste on Barrayar, the planet of origin of Miles Vorkosigan, the hero of the Saga written by one of our
"Professional Wordsmith" and one of my favorite, if not my very favorite SF/Fantasy authors.

Ahh, thanks for the insight. I did indeed read your name as VoralFred and not VorAlfred. My apologies.

And no, I do not have a Facebook.

That's what I'm experiencing now at 17. But I suck it up cuz I realize it'll be good later on. I'm a carbon copy of my mum who is 47 but looks 30.
Being only 5 feet tall doesn't help my case of not looking my age either.

Congratulations, and celebrations etc...
