The jerk who yelled "I WILL NOT BE SUSHED !!!" in response to the avalanche risk warning.

Why do our hands have 5 fingers instead of 3, 4 or 6 ?

So we can practice the 5-fingered discount.

How come laurie has been posting mostly at more reasonable hours, these past three days, until this post?

When it is a cat.

When is a cat not a cat?

Because life is giving you a long chance to feel better before you go to bed.

Why do bosses want you to go to work even if you're sick, but then complain about low office productivity due to too many people that are out sick?

Because you are not gross enough to fake a fit of coughing that will loosen up that phlegm then really hack up that goo and "miss" your hanky by "mistake".

Indian cuisine actually swears by this combination. Well, not the pepper in one hand and a sprig of mint in the other.

I have a vague memory of a snack recipe where the dip consisted of mint and yoghurt. The snack itself was highly peppered, but it was yummy!!!!! I have forgotten the recipe but I still sweat thinking about it because I went overboard with the pepper.

Well, wisdom says that real bravery is the presence of mind to go ahead and do something despite any trepidation.

Will that satisfy this phlegmatic spate of questions?
