I realized that its only two more weeks until my team is back on the water (we've had land boot camp for about a month).

It has arrived! It has arrived!
Last time, it was just a message from Amazon that they had sent it, but now it has actually arrived! I have touched it! I can now open it and read it!

O jour frabbejeais! Calleau! Callai!
Je cortule dans ma joie!

O Freuden-Tag! O Halloo-Schlag!
Ich chortel' froh-gesinnt.

Oh! frabiusce dies! iterumque caloque calque
Laetus eo" ut chortleo chortla superba.

Callò! Callài! Giorno fregiato!

¡Cheverón! ¡Chamacón! ¡Oh frabuactuoso día!

Oh dia fremular! Bravooh! Bravarte!

O, zi fruslavax! Ohei! Ohu!
(ax represents a rumanian character "ax = a, hacek")

O heugle dag! Hoezee! Hoezot!

O jiwblus ddydd! Hwrê! Hwroc!

O frabja tago! Kalu! Kalaû!

Hurra for denne glædesdag!

Ó rastný den! Avej, ava!

O wielny dniu! Kalej! Kalu!

Note: I wrote the last line of that verse only in the languages where I knew how to change from third to first person

On Saturday, January 31st at 6:15 pm at The Marine Room in La Jolla, CA, with the ocean view helping set the mood and my knee touching the floor next to our table, Lara honored me beyond what I deserve by graciously accepting my proposal of marriage. Happy tears all around!!!

w00t!! My good luck is only surpassed by my gratitude for what I've been given.

I am the luckiest man alive!!

Poor bast--

.. er ..

Congratulations!!

:D

(One small bit of advice, if I may: unless you've been living together for a while, hold off on kids until you've been married a few years. Our kids barely survive their parents' "verbal exchanges" -- and we were married six years before the first was born.) ;)

Then I'm all the more happy for you -- by now you should know what you're getting yourself into. ;)

(Actually, that sounds like my sister's house four years from now -- they've got five kids from 2 through 15.)

Blessings, peace, and happiness!
