Hello and salutations, my young padawan.
I see you remembered what I told you about topics and relevance, good start.
Glad you made it at last, but dont forget to post that letter, lest my efforts be for naught.
'You can take our lives but you'll never take our freedom!' he screamed.

Intro
Hi everybody,
My name is Yoon-Lin although I go by the nickname of seraph7. I'm a 47 y.o. Chinese male from Malaysia at the moment working in Nigeria (gosh this sounds so much like the start of an AA meeting
. Anyway, I'll just follow the guidelines given by `gong' and run through them:
1. My favourite genre is Fantasy, followed closely by Scifi of the cyperbunk type. I'm also not averse to chiclit and urban paranormal romance. I also like Westerns which was what led me to this forum.
2. I have no favourite author save the author who wrote the most meaningful book in relation to a certain period of my life. For example, Enid Blyton during my formative years, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Chaim Potok ( The Chosen ) when I was in my 13's, Patricia Nell Warren ( The Front Runner ) in my early teens, Agatha Christie, William Gibson ( Neuromancer ) in my late teens, Neal Stephenson, R.A. MacAvoy, Mercedes Lackey, J.T.Edson, Isaac Asimov, David Eddings, the list goes on...
3. Ditto 2.
4. Why I chose my member name ... I don't really know, except that I have this thing about the mysteries of life and of Godhood, and somehow, it just feels right. And no, I'm not a Christian, neither am I a Chinese Jew.
5. I found IBDof while googling for Oliver Strange's Sudden series of book titles, hoping to come across a veritable vault of his books in ebook form.
6. One book I would never recommend to a friend,...Xaviera by Xaviera Hollander
7. Top 5 books or series : Weeelllll.....Hmmmm....
Okay, (i) LOTR Trilogy - J.R.R.Tolkien
(ii) The Chosen - Chaim Potok
(iii) The Wraethru Trilogy - Storm Constantine
(iv) Damiano's Lute - R.A.MacAvoy
(v) Dragonsinger - Anne McCaffrey
Well I guess that's about it. Hi
