Well, as I said a in a post just above (but in a previous page) if the rules were made explicit rather than alluded to, often not in a particularly helpful way, I'd agree that more time should be given to tollbaby and all subsequent players.

Well, it has been a whole week now and since this is really getting cold, I'll jumpstart it again. But let us just consider that "Les MisÃ©rables" was a fumble and we start afresh.
So the person who has to wait (how long? three days? or let's make it five days as in the other games) before answering is Sue (mccormack44 for the uninitiated) as we reset to the point when I answered her quote.

At a village of XXX whose name I do not wish to remember there lived a little while ago one of those gentlemen who are wont to keep a lance in the rack, an old buckler, a lean horse and a swift greyhound.

This is again a translation, but telling you from what language would make it too easy. The translation I found in one of the many english editions so it could vary from one edition to the other.
The name of the village was omitted by the author himself, however I had to edit some geographical data (XXX) that is present in the book but would be a dead giveaway.

I say again - I do not think this game should recived Sherlocks because you can google the answers.

I agree with the logic, but I don't think anyone is cheating, otherwise more people would be jumping in and some quotes would not have taken so long to be answered. Any more opinions oout there? In the meantime...

.....Okay, I checked to make sure this wasn't already a quote in this game.

On the 24th of February, 1815, the watch-tower of XXXX signalled the arrival of the three-master Pharaon, from Smyrna, Trieste, and Naples.

The XXXX is the name of the watch-tower.....I felt it might give a bigger hint to where the book takes place.....

Certainly I would. I'm rather inconsistent with these forums but I check in when I log on. With this game, at least, anyone can verify an answer. Otherwise move on & the poster will eventually return.
