I don't know....it was 1 1/2 hrs after breakfast, and I didn't have water, so probably. And unfortunatly, I can't get the water out of my backpack because it's in the locker room and unaccessible for another 30 mins.......and at my school, no way in heck anyone would want to drink out of the water foutains.....it tastes the cabbage/sewage. And no fruit. :(

Thanks for the advice!!!!! ^^

Today I learned that what I thought was a very amazing paranormal experience was in fact merely an outlet malfunction.

Today I learned that it *is* possible to get something for nothing. My niece purchased a new cellphone, received 2 rebates immediately, and will receive a mail-in rebate in a few weeks. When that arrives, she will have paid exactly $0 for the phone.

Today I learned that a busy schedule kind of sucks. School, science club, soccer practice, home at 8:30, dinner & shower until 9:30, homework until 10:30, and today, up at 6:00 for more homework. Fun.

Today I learned that learning how to ski after getting in two car accidents, food poisoning, and having the flu is not a good idea.

Today I learnt I should probably keep a closer eye on my credit card... I am so glad I am getting a payrise shortly or I might have to sacrifice a few nights out on the town and that is definitely not acceptable!!

Furthermore, I learnt how to strip a car down and how fun it is to take to the front windscreen with a sledge-hammer. "Work" rules! :)

Oh, yeah, and I just 'learnt' how to spell learned properly!

Today I learned that you can make a pretty snazzy dish out of leftover rice. Just toss a pat of butter in the frying pan, toss in the rice, toss in a couple of raw eggs and kind of stir them around till they are cooked, throw in some left over baked chicken, and some frozen mixed veggies. moisten it up with a little chicken broth and cook it till it's hot. splash a little soy sauce on it, and it's quite yummy.

haha no. although my ski instructor got his skis caught in mine, turned around, flipped me to the ground. my knee ended up behind me in a very awkward and not reassuring manner..... it was painful but not broken. lol.

Today I learned that sitting on your ass all weekend is extremely boring and a waste of time. Oh, and that I get very very grumpy if I sleep in.

This thread reminded me of an assignment that I had to do last year in my english class. So I searched my computer and found it. If ANYBODY on here watches the american tv show THE OFFICE, you might understand some of this. We had to choose something that we've learned alot about....I chose the Office.

Yesterday I learned why I prefer watching movies on DVD.

We were in the middle of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" when the battery on the hearing aid for my better ear ran out. It was a tense moment (almost a tautology), but because it was a DVD, we could put it on hold while I got a new battery inserted. Nothing was missed.

In the theater I'd have lost a crucial moment or two while I fumbled around in my purse finding the correct batteries (the batteries for the left aid are a different strength than those for the right) and getting the new one inserted.

HOORAY! for the DVD.

Today I learned that dealing with a U.S. Government agency, even online, is time-consuming and exhausting.

And tomorrow I will get a second lesson.... :(

As an employee of a U.S. Government Agency I'm sorry to hear that. However, since I am quite sure that it wasn't my agency I can't give you an apology .

I do know, though, that it can feel like this. :wall:

Today I learned that you should NEVER keep your rings on when you wear gloves. Well actually I leaned it yesterday when we were snowmobileing, after we got home I noticed I was missing one of my rings and I think it probably came off when I pulled my glove off in the field. I loved that ring!

Today I learned to never give up hope, I found my ring!!
Actually my son found it, in the bottom of the laundry basket no less, we're still trying to figure out how it got there??!! I'm not questioning it to much, I'm just glad it's not lost anymore, but I still pay more attention when taking off my gloves! :D

Today I learned that one should always keep a backup of all the numbers in their phone. I lost my phone last night and have lost all my numbers. I am completely gutted. Especially because tonight I am meeting a girl I like a lot but now I don't have her number so she is going to think I am a complete wanker when I don't return her calls/txts to finalise plans.
It is especially bad because she leaves to go down south in a few weeks so I don't have much opportunity to hang out with her. *shakes fist*

Luckily, one of my friends is friends with a friend who is a friend of this girl so things might turn out ok...

Today I learned that having a 10gig monthly download cap can make for a very happy Lynne when bittorrent becomes involved :D

Today, I downloaded the entire discographies for Queen, the Eagles and U2.... and albums from Jim Cuddy, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Journey and the soundtracks to Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs :D
