Lucky!! You actually have a friend who read the series at your request (or force)? All of my friends totally refuse, and even if I bought it for them, no way they would ever actually read it. :(

That's what all my friends would say. They are all anti-reading right now. They would rather moon over guys than do well in school or read a book.

Good thing they didn't throw it out.

Whenever I read a book at school, my friends leave me alone, and go giggle over some guys who will never know or care that they like them, let alone exist.

What's wrong with reading anyway? Why is it such a horrible thing to pick up a book anyway?!

I read under the desk all the time in math class. I've never been caught, actually. My teacher walks by, sees the book, and goes, "whatever." But I have been yelled at in Spanish class for reading after a test.

My Spanish teacher is VERY touchy about these things, like we have hidden notes in our books or something. We have to sit there until everyone's done, which for me, is like, 20 minutes.

It must be Spanish teachers. Mine yells at me for doing my homework in class.

Mine yells at everyone for everything. You're right; must be the job.

Except the Spanish sub we had for 3/4 of the year last year was awesome about that stuff. I liked her better than our usual teacher. Now it's back to getting yelled at for reading. *sigh*

haha, my Chinese teacher...the crazy *%$^# that I've talked about sometimes... she is really whacked about these things....one moment she'll wont say anything to everyone in the class thats doing something else besides the work, then she'll whip around and start yelling at someone for doing it, and go on ignoring everyone else doing the same thing......

oh, the things I could tell about that teacher, but it might need its own thread for that one...lol. wont do that though.

LOL. I can imagine that. I would need a whole thread to tell about the crazy science teacher I had last year, too. He played Mario Brothers in class, would hardly help anyone on the assignments, and let the class run WILD.

my chemistry teacher is a pyro. he's always telling us that. he says hes sad if we don't get to do a lab that involves fire at least once a week. on the first day of school, he dumped a tennis ball in liquid nitrogen and tossed it at us yelling "HOT POTATO!" laughing.... hes so awesome lol

No way!!!! @_@ That's sick!!! Did you burn the school down? Some kid set a trashcan on fire last year, and this girl set the bathroom on fire this year. ^^

We just got to use fire in a lab the last few days before break. It was awesome!!!!!

I want to get your chemistry teacher in high school!!! :D He sounds so cool!

no i was playing with a stick....and it was one of those desks that are "flame resistant" but I was rubbing it and trying to spark it.....finally it did...but the stupid table put it out.

In middle school there was a trash can fire like once a week for me. Wait, no I didn't cause them ... but kids in my school set one off a week.

Didn't know where else to put this...
WHWH page422 Derian speaking
"Damn them. They'll ruin the horses. Ruin the women. Wonder what they'll do to me and Doc? Don't like how that one guy was looking at me. I thought dying was the worst thing."

I missed this the first time I read it. Derian rape? o_O
