The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to Purgatory!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Level | Score
Purgatory | Very High
Level 1 - Limbo | Moderate
Level 2 | High
Level 3 | Low
Level 4 | Very Low
Level 5 | Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis | Very Low
Level 7 | Low
Level 8- the Malebolge | Moderate
Level 9 - Cocytus | Very Low
I did answer as honestly as I could, sometimes choosing the "lesser of two evils" and only once skipping because I wouldn't do EITHER. As usual, I dispute some of the questions; many include actions that ARE NOT bad, although small minded folks may think so, and many people thought so in Dante's day.

Sue, I don't think you should take this test seriously! It is a joke, like the one "How evil are you" where you scored angelic.
Sure, a lot of the questions do not make any sense and even when they do, it is very context dependent. Like "would you betray your country?" (which I guess, would put you in the 9th circle - I'm surprised I did not get there since I answered "yes".)
Indeed, though it is now generally admitted that in 1940 Petain was the traitor and De Gaulle really represented France, that is mostly a post-victory fabrication. Most of the French population for four years, considered Petain as their leader and De Gaulle as a traitor. So treason, in that case, was the ethical choice! And if the case of France can be discussed (who really represented the "real" France, as opposed to a "chained" and thus "illegitimate" France) certainly Third Reich citizens who went all the way across and enlisted in the Allied armies to fight against the Wehrmacht, like Willy Brandt and my late uncle, were definitely traitors from the point of view of the vast majority of their compatriots. Again, treason was definitely the appropriate ethical choice in this case.

What a puny "Pure Evil" you are!
I can't wait for violetblue to come back and take this test!
I'm sure she'll make the 9th circle easily!
(Dante would probably have thought up a 10th one, just for her, had he only known her...)

I do that occasionally too, but not often. Especially not with this test.
I've actually taken it before, and I managed to make the same level of hell... I feel special.
The wretched King Minos has decided your fate. His tale wraps around his body 3 times.
The sweet light no longer strikes against your eyes. Your shade has been banished to... the Third Level of Hell!
Third Level of Hell
In the third circle, you find yourself amidst eternal rain, maledict, cold, and heavy. The gluttons are punished here, lying in the filthy mixture of shadows and of putrid water. Because you consumed in excess, you meet your fate beneath the cold, dirty rain, amidst the other souls that there lay unhappily in the stinking mud. Cerebus, a canine monster cruel and uncouth with his three heads and red eyes, dwells in this level. He growls and tears at the damned with his teeth and claws.

Haha, v, I saw your post. As you can see, I'm not all that bad. But once again, I answered the questions pretty mildly and still got cast down! (As v saw, I got level 2 before, which means this forum has been a bad influence on my sweet self).
This was my favorite statement: "A pimp is a good thing to be." So a predisposition for purple and sequins sends you to the lower circles? Unfair!

Normally I get Levels 2 and 3.
Fifth Level of Hell
The river Styx runs through this level of Hell, and in it are punished the wrathful and the gloomy. The former are forever lashing out at each other in anger, furious and naked, tearing each other piecemeal with their teeth. The latter are gurgling in the black mud, slothful and sullen, withdrawn from the world. Their lamentations bubble to the surface as they try to repeat a doleful hymn, though with unbroken words they cannot say it. Because you lived a cruel, vindictive and hateful life, you meet your fate in the Styx.

Somehow you went at corss-purpose with daetara: she got to Level 2 (for gluttons) but Wrath was her main sin, you vent to Level 7 (violents) with gluttony as your main sin.. I'm really not sure the two tests are really so well correlated...

Purgatory
You have escaped damnation and made it to Purgatory, a place where the dew of repentance washes off the stain of sin and girds the spirit with humility. Through contrition, confession, and satisfaction by works of righteousness, you must make your way up the mountain. As the sins are cleansed from your soul, you will be illuminated by the Sun of Divine Grace, and you will join other souls, smiling and happy, upon the summit of this mountain. Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven.

Interestingly enough, I've taken this quiz several times throughout my years on the Internet, and I always during previous times got sent to level 6, the Heretics. Some of my thoughts and beliefs have changed since then, so I guess this is a sign they've changed towards the better, considering that I seem to be making my way upward.Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.
Neat.

First Level of Hell - Limbo
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley.
Well, that's a relief. *wipes brow*

Soccer is a game in which a handful of fit men run around for one and a half hours watched by millions of people who could really use the exercise.

I am assigned to Purgatory where I will no doubt be flogged daily and made to eat lima beans. Sigh.
At least I don't have to spend an eternity in a bath of brimstone.
At least I don't have to spend an eternity in a bath of brimstone.
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go
