1. Is the thing you are thinking of a fictional character? Yes.
2. Is the fiction character male? Yes.
3. Is this a male fantasy character? Yes.
4. Does this male fantasy character appear in any Modesitt books? No.
5. Is this male character ever a king in his career? Yes.
6. As well as being in a fantasy novel, is the character *also* represented in movies or tv? No.
7. is the character considered a "good guy"? Yes (of course most every character has enemies....)
8. Is this character a king in a role playing world (i.e. AD&D, Forgotten Realms, etcâ€¦)? No.

But the author is male and the character is in the first book of the series.

I won't count that as a valid question because I don't think it would be right of me to do that when it is possible that no one has read it. Aside from the fact that we know the character was created by a male, and I am not a male so that would count me out.

Well, let's see. The author is male and the character in the book is the main character. The book is the first of a three part series. The author and book are in the database, though not as a forum. The character had three different names, but his real one started with a "C." And the author's first name starts with a "G."

How's that?

Is this an acceptable question? Can the questions only be about the character itself, or can it be like this? I'm really not sure....

Your Game - Your Rules - I would say if YOU feel it is out of bounds say so. The fact that you are asking would make me tend to lean on the side of it's being out of bounds.

Although - I would be tempted to answer it with the standard yes/no as it is a fairly inventive way of narowing the field... That's just me though.
