Knowledge ... I would take knowledge any day over ignorance (with a few exceptions, such as what dying feels like).

{Power} To Build or To Destroy? (Remember, both aspects are theoretically neutral, it's what you use the type of power to do (and your opinion) that governs whether it is 'good' or evil')

Mittens - gloves isolate your fingers and prevent the heat distributed by bloodflow to help warm the other fingers, thus requiring less bloodflow to the extremities, etc.

Brick & Mortar ... you can flick through a book, or read the first chapter, to see if it's any good before you buy it (this is how I find most of the manga series I read).
