Video card. Processors have reached a speed where a good two-year old one will handle top-notch games with little difficultly. On the other hand, a good two year-old video card will have a very hard time running on anything higher than Medium.

Webcam, you can take pictures and show people what your doing ... and if you get a semi-decent one it comes with a mic built in anyway

Neither >.> .rar ftw (if it has to be one of them then .tar.gz). And CRTs suck ... they screw your eyes up, I can barely use them for more than an hour or two ... I can sit at a flatscreen for hours on end
