Here you go.tollbaby wrote:kilty, where's that picture of King Rat? LOL I think Scott/Steven would get a kick out of it.
Consider yourselves warned.
The tale of gruesome woe that resulted in this photo op is unsuited for those who have a soft spot in their hearts for tender furry rodents...

I will try to post more of a story sometime...
for now:

Last night on the way home I saw this big ass rat sauntering along like he owned the subway.
He's laughing out the other side of his mouth now!

I'm rather confused, as I don't remember posting that twice. Unless it was my Palm going all funky with browser sessions and trying to double post something as it didn't finish the request to it's own satisfaction before teh wireless was turned off teh first time.
I'm rather confused, as I don't remember making the comment twice. We all know that Brad & Fifi are holed up in a den, as befitting that dog status.

Excellent characterisation TB.tollbaby wrote:Brad <snip> more of a cuddly badger sort of bloke
I had not considered this until you made this very comment, but I would agree that Brad certainly has many of the best qualities of Badger from
the Wind in the Willows
An expanded description can be found here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_in_the_Willows
I vaguely recall some comment along the lines of, " A young man, when selecting from suitable ladies his future bride, will hand her a copy of the Wind in the Willows and if she delights in the tale, will continue the courtship. On the other hand, should she not appreciate the wonder of this work, will simply realise that she is worthy of further attention on his part and will cease all contact as expeditiously as possible"
The words were different, but when I read it, it made a marked impact upon me. One can indeed have basic litmus tests that will indicate a certain level of compatability, and that is definately not a bad one.
