Fortunately, I live near Atlanta so if I ever wanted to go to one or something similar, I probably could.

Like that Velvet Revolver concert I never got to go to....and that Opeth concert that I won't be able to go to.... Unfortunate.

Unfortunately, you live too far away to easily get to ARCHON (my favorite convention), but Aunflin lives even closer than I do. Also, unfortunately I'm trying to recruit attendance at Archon, but haven't yet posted it on the convention board.

Unfortunately, as I live in England, I can't come either.

Though I went to a pretty poor Dr Who convention in Cambridge.

Fortunately (for GG) I didn't see it.

Fortunately, even if NO ONE has anything to say, we always manage to keep this going.

Fortunately, we have been able to resurrect it every time--so far.
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go

Unfortunately, we do it by writing silly nonsense like this.

Fortunately, you can always start quoting song lyrics
When the fox hears the rabbit scream, he comes a-runnin'.

But not to help.

Unfortunately, song lyrics can be awful.

"I love you...you love me..."
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go

Unfortunately, I can't remember any lyrics that would be suitable...

"So I'm ringin in the new year,
The bells began to ring,
Fats is in the corner, she's just about to sing"
"Explanation is not an escape from suffering."
