Unfortunately, due to the past million- posting by people *cough*GoatLuva*cough* they won't be getting that much love and/or appreciation from me.

Unfortunately, I think you're wrong....

I always have girls interested in me...and then I open my mouth...and the interest dies swiftly. I just talk like I do here at the Ibdof--and they start running... :?

True story: this girl I worked with sured acted like she "wanted" me, making certain to rub up against me and all that. So, I figured, why not? Asked her out. She gave me her number. Called her ten times. She never answered. Left messages to call me back if she was really still interested... Nothing... And then she stopped talking to me. And kept acting like she liked me. Ended up quitting work...even as she continued to be sexually suggestive towards me. I think she was just messing with me, though we sure talked a lot... And I've had other similar situations. But I don't get it. I'm not a bad guy. Sex is nice (from what I remember...) but why act like you want me and then...ignore me and then act like you like me again...? It's happened many times--I am confused... :?

I think it is because I a crazy, though I have no medical diagnosis on that...

Fortunately, a day will come, very possibly just when you have given up the hope of ever encountering someone, that a person appears that clearly shows a preference to you and you only. That happened to me.

Unfortunately, the stars show that it is likely that this person will be wielding a rusty spoon to castrate you with. It's a Jupiter rising into Sputnik's house thing.

Fortunately, I can provide him with as can of Threat-B-Gone rusty spoon dissolver, so castration, castigation, or flagellation will be prevented.

Aunflin--what can I say those girls were idiots.

The right one will come along--and then bliss will abound.

She'll be a nice GEEK--which will assure eternal happiness.

Unfortunately, Aunflin doesn't go to conventions (or SF Club meetings) where girls talk like the females of IBDOF do, and think like us too (not ALL of them, but most). I ought to know; Bob and I met at an SF convention 77 years ago next month!

Unfortunately, the discipline doesn't seem to improve Cho's spelling.

fortunately, Laurie is occasionally merciful...especially since my latest mispelling was probably her fault for scrambling my little brain....

Unfortunately, Cho is denying responsibility for her acts (and what better place to PLAY at irresponsibility?).

Unfortunately, her spelling is actually quite proficient compared to at least one of the other regular posters around here.

Fortunately you spelled "imminent" correctly, and therefore you're still alive and able to appreciate the immanence of Laurie's magical spelling mallet.

Unfortunately, the insensate state that follows a healthy dose of the spelling mallet would actually be preferable to the annoying stings of GG's instruments of punishment.

Fortunately, I think GG was just honing her JarJar Binks impression, and probably didn't mean you any genuine harm in her last post.

Unfortunately, I should go to a sci-fi convention but can never imagine actually doing so...
