Ok, it's now the 19th, no guesses, nothing. So... I'm guessing no one has a clue on this one, even though it sounds oh so familiar. Perhaps a hint will begin to melt the frost from this quote?

It's not recluce or spellsong. the way the quote is delivered gives a clue to the 'thinker' - the style is very much their own

I think this is the lawyer/solicitor that gerswin interacts with as corso on the planet where he ends up dropping a bomb in the city. I think it was Paul...essentially he tells him, it is your fault and that an ethic of complacency is no more excusable than an ethic of greed.

Come On guys, I know these quotes are not that hard! My first ever quote I put on this list was guessed in a matter of hours, so I did try to make these a bit harder, but not overly so. Again, they are from the same book, and indeed even have a cross connection in characters. Now, if I give any more hints it simply won't be fair, 'cause then it'll be too easy! Start guessing!
