What made Tuesday bad but today good.
Tuesday: I found out my priest Father Paul died of a heart attack. (bad)
Today: I found out he died in his sleep and didn't suffer at all. (good)

A late friend of mine died in his sleep a few years back ... although in his case, he was in bed with a 20 yr old model at the time (a fact that is still occasionally toasted to by some mutual acquaintances in a nearby tavern he used to frequent).

I probably already mentioned this somewhere, but I had 4 years of perfect attendance throughout high school, but missed the graduation ceremony because of a bad case of poorly timed chicken pox. Suckage. :rolleyes:

I needed a new car.

Now, being retired, divorced and old (physically, not yet mentally, though my crazy eccentricity might mislead you ), I don't need a roomy family automobile. A two-seater is more than enough for me. On the other hand, I'm an inveterate tinkerer, so I like/need to have lots of cargo space.

Therefore, six months ago, I bought a little two-seater van with a nifty collapsible passenger seat, a Citroën Nemo. Yes, its model name does allude to Disney's clownfish Nemo. .

When I ordered it and chose its colour, I was a little apprehensive, but now I think the "Orange Corail" fits this zip-about vanette very well indeed. Personally I don't think of it as of a male clownfish, but as of a female ladybug, so much so that I've taken to calling it "Genevieve". It looks SO cute that it attracts and seduces young women in droves.

Finally, what makes today good is that yesterday I finished tinkering, thoroughly cleaning, polishing and waxing Genevieve. Today, parked at the curb, she stands there looking smug and proud and adorable as a ..., well, as a clownfish.
