On the "Oude Markt" (Old Marketplace) in Leuven, Belgium, there is a nice statue named "De Kotmadam" (The Landlady).
But not just any landlady. She represents the ubiquitous student's room's landlady. Ubiquitous because Leuven harbours a large university (50000+ students). Students' landlady because she's always ready to support her students with a cup of coffee.
