I see this question hasn't been posed - so what's your favourite HPL? I've picked what I consider to be his major works, so have included other as an option if your favourite isn't included.

As for myself, it has to be Shadow Over Innsmouth - A wonderful evocation of a shunned New England town in thrall to the Deep Ones.

This is a hard one, but my two favorites are The Tomb and The Strange High House in the Mist.

The first paragraph of The Strange High House in the Mist is pretty much my favorite of all time. I can't tell you exactly why, but it's brilliant and I love it.
