Sorry, this is not a winning game piece. Please play again.

In this case the quote is rather brief...you could either provide a litttle more context or narrow down the genre. It's up to you I guess. I hate to see it go in the cold quote category, but I am really struggling.
You're right, it is rather brief. However, all the context you need is right in the quote. If I give any more hints (besides those I gave just now), it will just give it away.

Just wanted to keep the quote on the most recent page of the thread.
I've thought that for days. It sounds like something that Jeslek says to him to put him in his place. I've scanned the books though and haven't come up with anything.
Taking it from another perspective, it also sounds like something Kinowin would say to him to continue to guide him to be humble. Again...no luck.

This one is truly worth a Sherlock. I really don't want to give it away and make the game too easy. On the other hand, I now suspect it may go unsolved for quite a while. It sounds like the majority opinion is to stick with one quote at a time. So should we make this a Cold Quoteâ„¢ and start with a new one, or should we give this one a while longer?

The key to the puzzle is the word "willingness".
As I said before, I'd like to keep the game moving, but I think the game will be too easy if quotes are just given away. I'd rather just post a new quote than to give one away too easily. Unless someone gets the quote right by Friday (2 weeks from the original post date), I'll officially make this a Cold Quoteâ„¢ and post a new one. If anyone objects, post your opinion by Friday, and I may reconsider.

Well, let me put it this way. If you haven't read the book, then you probably wouldn't get it no matter how many hints I gave. And if you have read it, you shouldn't need many hints.
