Oh and Doc Kurtz, about that "balance" you mention and um Lorn (Trying to do this w/out spoilers) I wonder if that suggests that he too had a rather long life span, thereby making Ceryl his decendent? Or am I speculating too much?

I believe he was long dead by the time of Cyador's fall. I cant imagine him letting the empire fall apart like that.

As I recall, the emperor (or whatever) of Cyador at the time was about as un-Lorn-like as possible ... at least from the brief glimpse we get.
