Browsing in a library, I've found the 2nd opus of Firekeeper's saga… Borrowed it several times, then finally bought all of the books… Just finishing the 3rd right now.

Like I said in another post, I got Wolf's Head, Wolf's heart for Christmas from my Dad. :) I often thank him for getting it for me, because I love the novels so much. By the way, Kidta I've read the Terry Goodkind novels. They're amazing. Have you heard about how Terry is going to be writing only three more for the Sword of truth series called the Chainfire trilogy?

I've gone for "Browsing Bookstore" but as that bookstore was Amazon.co.uk perhaps I should have chosen internet. I was just looking for new fantasy / sci-fi authors to try and the reviews for the Through Wolf's Eyes were so glowing that I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! The next two are now on order and I'm anxiously awaiting their arrival.

I stumbled on the Firekeeper series by judging a book by it's cover. I was drawn to the title and cover, so I got hooked. What was funny, after reading it, a friend recommended it to me...

I found the book "Through Wolf's Eyes" on accident. I was just looking through a shelf of books at a grocery store and I saw it had a wolf on it. I've always had a thing for wolves so I picked it up. I was instantly in love with it! Jane is the best author ever.

I was browsing the bookshelves at my local bookstore, searching for a birthday present to myself. Most of the books looked incredibly boring. I found this book as I was trying to get to the end of the Mercedes Lackey section... I read the back cover and just had to read it. Since then my roommate has snagged each of the three books once I finished them.

I was lucky enough to hear her reading the first chapter of Through Wolf's Eyes at a con. I came in late and was later informed that I missed Jane howling. My friends and I, already fans because of our earlier works, got to talk to her later and have been following this series together since.

I think I picked up the first part in the only bookstore in Wageningen woth that name. Unfortunately it is a paperback. It's almost impossible to get hardcovers in English here. A big frustration of mine. I like bookstores but I still order quite a bit trough amazon because it's just not available here.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next book :)

Being fortunate enough to work in a library, I have gotten into the habit of picking up whatever my favorite patrons recommend or return, and Through Wolf's Eyes was one of these books. I've been a huge fan ever since!

Like several others I was just browsing the Libary when it cought sight of a beautiful gray wolf on the cover of said book. So, I picked it up. I fell in love with it immediately, but quickly had my attention diverted to other things. About three years later I was in a book store and saw the Through Wolf's Eyes and right next to it was Wolf's Head Wolf's Heart. Thrilled I walked out of the bookstore having enlarged my personaly library by two books. I've been following the series ever since.

My brothers gave WHWH and DOD to me for Christmas becuase the story sounded good, and it had wolves in it. And I am addicted to Wolves. For those who remember the older cheese comercials, I give this statement that describes me;

"Behold the power of Wolves"

I got the hard sell from a store clerk while trying to see what W. Gibson and Joe Haldeman were up to.

Not that I regret it or anything.

My friend bought Through Wolf's Eyes randomly for a book report she had to get done last-second. She never did get around to reading it in time for her book report, so I borrowed it from her and was hooked instantly. [/i]

I was just kinda lookin around the bookstore when I decided I'd see if there looked like there were any good books to do with wolves, as they are my favorite animal. When I came across them :D Looked good so I decided to buy the first one and have been a grateful fan ever since!

One of my mother's friends reads even more than I do. For my birthday each year I get a bunch of used paperbacks from her that she's done with, mostly sf and fantasy. One of the books that turned up a couple years ago was When the Gods Are Silent. I liked it a lot and went looking for more of Jane Lindskold's books. Next I picked up Changer, and liked that too. I saw the Firekeeper series in the bookstore, but the cover gave me pause, actually. The animal related fantasies I've read in the past have been a bit... I don't know how to describe the feeling. Both overly sappy and looking at nature as some sort of paradise.

I was finally convinced by the following this series seems to have. I picked up Wolf's Head, Wolf's Heart for cheap but I haven't made it to my local bookstore yet to get the first book in the series. I'm willing to try it out now.

Hey there!

Hey guys! I'm new here and just wanted to say hi. Well, I found the series one day while I was walking through Walden Books. The cover of the book caught my eye and when I read the summary I bought all three of the books that were out. I'm currently reading "Dragon of Despair." I can't wait until Sapphire has her kid! I also can't wait to see what happens with Elise and Jared! Why must I have to suffer so?! Well, this series is so fragging cool. I love it! Rock on!
