I was thinking of putting something like this on here. okay.

Misha you said something along the lines of
"By admiting that I am insane, I am sane."

I think that should be our slogan.... and in our anthem.

LOL.

My favorite quote is my signature. As you know. ^^
Don't blame spring sweet Firekeeper. Spring had done nothing but be spring. You know who is to blame, who has been whispering in your ear. I have heard what you say in your dreams, and although you have not told me, I know who has returned to haunt you. ~ Blind Seer, pg 2, Wolf's Blood

TWE page 75
When Earl Kestrel tells Derian that he is to civilize the 'wild woman':
"What have I gotten myself into?"

If he only knew ^_~

OKay, this isn't a favorite quote. But I sticky noted it and didn't know where to place it.
Derian had always been a healthy young man, and he'd had his share of sweethearts, sometimes more than one at a time. He'd nursed a fancy for Elise for a time, before deciding that he'd much rather see her with Doc. He'd even had a few brief thoughts regarding Firekeeper, but not only was she simply too strange, he had been among the first to realize that her feelings for Blind Seer went beyond brotherly.
For you ravenwing.

Oh, no. I lost a sticky place.

Not from FS, but appropriate:

From the Jungle Book and BTDCTO right?

oo I've got one!
I don't think you can lose your virginity in a dream, but we could find out. (293 WB)
I cracked up at that forever.

LOL, I just saw that I'm being quoted ^_~, thanks Moonwolf

TWE page 111 Derian trying to get Firekeeper into formal wear:
"Firekeeper knew that he was serious by how he made himself swell up like a bullfrog. When she didn't obey, he simply refused to acknowledge her until she did. She was amazed how something so unlike wolf dicipline could hurt as sharply."
( I found the mental image of this amusing ^_~)

TWE page 132
"Well done, Sister",Blind Seer said. "I look forward to meeting this One above Ones. Now, you must make ready. I, of course, am already perfect."
(Blind Seer's confidence in himself always amused me)

I love that blind seer quote

TWE page 333

Firekeeper was drawn from happy dreams of her childhood by Derian's voice saying things she had long dreaded to hear: "Rise and shine,Firekeeper. Formal attire for the reception tonight. Earl Kestrel espressly told me to make certain to scrub you feet."
(This one made me chuckle ^_~. Oh noes, clean feet @_@)

TWE page 399 Derian commenting to Elise about Jet

Derian swept a deep bow. " I would be honored, my lady. Forgive me for bluntness, but your betrothed is an ass."

Your welcome :D
And sorry for the random quotes, these are just the ones that for some odd reason stood out for me ^_~

TWE page 493
On finding out that he will be out in the battle

"Change?" Derian suddenly felt frightened. It was one thing to scowl and brood about being overlooked when you were safely out of danger; it was quite another when that danger was immediate again.

(That is sooo true. I know so many who talk big and sulk because they don't get to join in on the 'fun', but when they are put out there, they are like scared little rabbits)

TWE page 521

"If this had been a ballad, Derian would have reached for an arrow from his quiver and smoothly fired, dropping the vicious canine in its tracks. Instead, Derian yelled and swung his bow. The string popped, stinging as it slapped against his face, but the solid shaft his the dog soundly along the head and neck."

(Smooth ,Derian...real smooth -_-)

WHWH page 290 Elise remembering her earlier visits to Kestrel lands

She remembered an earlier visit some years before when she had been about eight. She'd torn about the gardens and fields with Edlin and Tait as if she were as wild as Firekeeper.
My hair was in plaits down my back, she rememberd fondly, and Edlin kept tugging at them. I kicked him in the ankle and he limped for two days.

( I didn't remember this at all, I'm glad I'm looking back at WHWH. It gave me a good chuckle ^_~)

About living in our mind...
But humans do this all the time. Beasts do not....In contrast, humans can live completely separated from the world around them, and yet believe themselves not only sane but even wise.

First, hello everyone, I'm new here, as you can tell, and I plan on coming around as often as I can, which may not be often due to school. But I will try to be as active as possible.

from Blind Seer in The Dragon of Despair

"The scent took the thoughts from my mind and placed them in my loins. If it hadn't been the cousins. . ."

from Hard Biter in Wolf Captured

"It talks!" she said in amazement. "Fire burn off my fur and make me as naked as a baby possum. The human talks!"

Haha, I distinctly remember those lines. I hadn't thought to mark them though.

Like I said, welcome. How far are you in the series?

They were sea foam and ice storm, waves crashing and sheeting rainfall. They were something like horses and something like cliffs, something like lizards and something like fish.
WB, Pg. 459 <=I loved the random rhyming in the book.
The Meddler followed her, obedient now, and through the thread that connected them still she could feel that her defeat of him had only increased hes admiration for her. She understood that. Wolves were much the same; they admired the strong and honored those who defeated them.
"How long," the Meddler whispered, "will you hold me to those words?"
"Why," Firekeeper replied, "should I ever set you free?"
WB, Pg. 473.

I loved that part. I wanted to give Firekeeper a high five. I love how she has more strength in WB, as a person, mentally and emotionally now; not just physically.

I didn't mark any quotes in the book, I seriously need to go back and reread it after I get the first book back from ,y aunt.

I finished the series back in August, it's easy when you own them all. I'm luck, I guess, since my library doesn't have them so i own them.

Yes, you are. I waited two years for WB, but it was so worth it. (Almost done 40 pages left!)

Off subject, but I feel really bad because I never get physically angry or upset really, but yesterday I did for like the first time in my life and I picked up the closest thing to me and chucked as hard as I could across the room and hit the wall. Well I had thrown Wolf's Blood. I felt so bad about that, now theres a dent in the wall. lol. Wolf's Blood is fine no damage.

Here's another bit of proof that Doc had a beard. How did I miss this? o_o

WHWH page 410
Elise liked how the faint trace of a grin visible beneath his beard made his face light up.

I was also reminded of repeating words in sentences x_x

WHWH 412
"So do I," Elise said softly, as if they were sharing a great secret. "So do I!"

I have only 'lost it' 3 times in my life. First time I punched my sister in the knee. Second time I tore the towel hanger from the wall and threw it at her (I missed >_>), and the third time I punched her in the back ^^''...oh wait, I also body slamed her onto the couch >_>. 4 times I'v lost it then... Its my older sister mind you....my older sister who will continuously press every button until you crack e_o... Anywho, don't feel bad it happens to everyone some time or another. I'v never thrown my books before, but my husband has tossed my WHWH book against the wall causeing half the pages to have a permanent crease x_x. I would've attacked, but I'm trying not to open a window to violence in our relationship...instead I yelled and pouted like a child until he appoligized :p

Yay, another Blind Seer quote:

"I worried about you, Bitch! You're lucky if all I do is know the breath out of you. You're lucky I don't break your legs so you can't run away again!"

I would never harm my books. Books of any kind are one of the main forces in my life.

Although I brought Wolf's Head, Wolf's Heart to a grade 8 retreat with me, and on the last day, i was walking (it had been raining) down these wooden stairs from a radio tower thingie they had for the camp, and I slipped. My butt hurt for a week, but i didn't care. Even though i fell down like 30 stairs (most on my butt and smacking my head off the stairs. I still didn't care, because my WHWH went flying and smack into a puddle. Ya, the last like, 200 pages are all old looking in the bottom right corner. I still need to get hardcovers for TWE, WHWH, WC, WC, I have the hardcovers for DoD and WB, hardcovers are sooooo much better, hard to carry in a wolf's muzzle without harming them.

Nice misha. ^^ I love the towel rack story, lol. I don't think i've ever lost it that bad, but then again, I have no siblings.

Yay, I can finally post on this topic because I have quotes to contribute!!!! ^^

pg 11, Child of a Rainless Year
I had seen the secret magic of color, and how color made lies truth and truth lies.
pg 13, Child of a Rainless Year
That I would eventually be discarded seemed right, for in that house we were all her satellites and she the center of gravity about which we revolved.
pg 53, Child of a Rainless Year (this made me laugh)
I discovered that the novel I'd picked up at a thrift shop had good reason for being consigned to oblivion. It had one of those annoying plots that wouldn't work at all if the heroine wasn't both optimistic and dumber than a box of rocks. I chucked it at the wall in annoyance...
pg 165, Child of a Rainless Year
"She may be or may not be, but though Queen of Mirrors she certainly is, and Mistress of Thresholds as well..."
pg 200, Child of a Rainless Year (yet another quote I laughed aloud at)
Maybe he's gay, I thought. He's never been married.
pg 269, Child of a Rainless Year (this one was rather funny to me as well)
This morning, even with the quick clean-up the crew had done, it did look as if some gigantic bird had tried to s*** down the side of Phineas House.
(imagine the size of THAT bird)

pg 272, Child of a Rainless Year
So great, I thought. You have a thing for a guy -- admit it, Mira, you do -- you have a thing for a guy who you think might have a thing for your house.
(what an image)

So there's some quotes to get you wondering....now get it and READ it!!!!
