Kinda picked it up out of desperation for something to read. Never heard of the title before but story summary seemed interesting. Left it in my closet forgotten. Cleaned out my closet a couple years later and started to read it. Taadaaa! New fan! :P

Yesh >_<
I'm so happy I picked it up. Even if the first 'meeting' wasn't as enthusiastic as when I went to go get the rest of the series :P

Now this is an interesting story.

When I was much younger, I was browsing through my local Books-a-Million with my mother. I expressed an interest in the epic fantasy genre already, although I was probably too immature to understand most of it.

Anyway, I was having trouble making a selection, so my Mom asked another older man who was looking through the section for some suggestions. He was very nice about it, and suggested a few series such as "The Wheel of Time" and those books by Mercedes Lackey.

He also recommended Firekeeper. At that time, I believe only the first two books were out, and since I loved Wolves, I bought the first one. Like I said, I was pretty small then, so I couldn't really get into it at the time.

A few years later I finally read it, and...well, the rest is history.

I don't think anyone's who's ever read the FS doesn't like it. ^^

But then again, I only know you four who have read it.....

Well don't forget those numerous members of this forum that were here before. There are many Firekeeper fans out there, they have simply yet to find us or vice versa.

LOL, woooow, random!
From convention to (an awesome) Jello wrestling match ( that I would LOVE to see! ). Lol, hey how come Billy isn't at the convention? For some reason I picture him with a bubble pipe ( like a fake Sherlock Holmes pipe) o_o.
Unless the Jello fight is happeneing at the convention....then I can understand Billy not wanting to be there...unless he is the referee!! Which would make sense because it would not be a biased decicion o_o.
Its perfect!! :D

It's actually kind of a funny story how I found the series. I was looking through my local Walden Books, which happens to be the smallest store in the mall. I was randomly picking up books with wolf in title. I was half way through WHWH when realized it was the second book.
