For some reason, when you're younger (from birth - 6th grade) time seems to drag by, but then BOOM!!!! It flys by. I hate that. High school is coming too soon!

Just sitting back and chuckling when you children talk about time flying. You should see how it moves when your kids leave grade school.

well if i look at myself, then it would be forever ago. I've have changed so much in just the past two years its ridiculous. especially since elementary school. elementary school i was a goody two shoes prick, 6th grade freaking annoying goody two shoes, 7th grade prep wanna be punk...still goody two shoes, 8th super wanna be rocker not so annoying, 9th grade complete overhaul badass school skipping huge attitude emo kid in the back of the class, 10th grade happy not preppy not emo not so annoying that can be considered a good kid but not goody two shoes with just a taste of badass left. i believe i have reached an equilibrium for the moment lol.

wow...interesting looking back. i pretty much hate the person i was back then but i never regret a thing.

the last couple years has changed me. no confidence or self esteme, no real goals, not very social. kind of a goody two shoes. i'm still basically good, but if you think about it, no one is good. i like to go out with my friends and have a couple drinks, hence being more social. starting studying Tae Kwon Do helped boost my confidence and playing Dungeons and Dragons gave me access to a great group of people i now call friends. and now i have goals: i want to be a farrier and a writer.

i still miss playing with my toys

I tend to miss my Barbie days every now and then. But I don't think I can ever go back to that. Action figures and cartoons I have never been able to move on from.
I have to remind myself that I'm not 21 anymore alot . But all in all, I don't think I ever really changed much. I've always been a 'good girl'. It has worked for me and no one has complained, so I didn't feel the need to change. Plus, I'm not ballsie enough to wear goth/punk clothes ^_^'', I feel like I stand out too much. I'm much happier blending into the background and just observing everything ^_~.

Wow, looking at the way some of you guys have changed, I realized I haven't changed that much. Elementary - 6th grade = tomboy, 7th grade = wannabe goth, 8th grade = girly. But always goody two-shoes, help the teacher, do well in school, wants perfect grades and attendance.....so yeah, lol......

Actually, my daughter is older than my son. She's 20, he's 18.

i never had perfect atendance. had decent grades most of the time, had to retake algebra once. hated math classes. loved agriculture science (ag) class and compostion classes. my senior year i only had three classes at my school then went north to another high school for one class. very cool.

that's what I'm mostly looking forward to is advanced English my Sr. year. not so much the advanced European History or Econ. and Government.

I've always fallen into that title of Miscellaneous. Anyone you'd asked they'd give you a different answer so I founded that category.

the next (and thank god last) two years of high school for me is COMPLETELY college courses. College English, college science, college math, college social sciences, agh... I'm gonna hate myself. On top of that I'm on the paper and I'm on dragonboats. So I might die.

And even though I went through that rebel stage or whatever, I still couldn't let myself slack on the grades. I failed gym for skipping but I cried my way into an A (that was REAL tears). and the only grade I've gotten in high school lower than an A is a B in band class because I dropped out two weeks before finals.

I found it by stumbling upon this here forum. And I havent had to go out and buy any yet, as my G.F has quite a few.
