I've only had coffee so far, and I'm about to go for a second cup...

I'll probably take a can of soup to work, I really don't want to fix anything. And who knows what I will eat for lunch...

If this is the case, don't you think you should try to get a more balanced and regular diet? From what you posted, your meals seemed a bit ..erratic.

Even if it is hot and you don't feel like cooking, try to split more evenly the calories you consume over the entire day. Skipping breakfast (just coffee is not breakfast) and dinner is not the best choice for your anemy and your heart.

For breakfast I had homemade biscuits and gravy

For lunch I had a diet coke.

For dinner I had two steamed dumplings and some stir-fry chicken, rice, carrots, and broccoli. Yummy.

I do need a more regular diet. But my job doesnt allow a steady lunch (it could be an hour after I get there or an hour before I leave) and no one around here except my dad will eat what I cook. And my mum just complains about my cooking methods. :hot2:

Like, I'm just now eating dinner. It's so random.

Cerial for breakfast,

oggy oggy pastie for lunch,

Might have a chicken salad for tea, but will prob. wash it down with a big fat milkshake. So much for healthy living.

squeaker, you are making me extremely jealous... if I lived anywhere in proximity to a pasty shop, I would weigh a tonne. I wish there was a way to export pasties, cause I'm way too lazy to make them myself (in my current kitchen anyway - maybe when I have adequate facilities, I'll give it a go!)

Breakfast this morning is some assorted baby carrots and grape tomatoes with a bottle of crystal light. I might throw in a few dates if I get a sugar craving. Lunch depends on whatever they have at the cafeteria.... if the lunch special doesn't pique my interest, it'll be soup and a bagel.

I love dates, I eat them almost everyday. When I was in the Middle East one time the driver I was using told me "dates, they are good for the sex they give you strength." I thought that was pretty funny.

Yesterday I believe I had coffee and cereal, and then a subway sandwich (the new pepper crusted turkey is very good). I've been keeping myself busy writing at work so I have'nt even been hungry enough to really eat.

I wonder what I'll have for lunch today...probably soup.

Breakfast: vanilla yogurt with a handful of granola cereal thrown in and now I'm munching on my usual morning snack of sugar snap peas.

To be edited as the day goes on.

I second that emotion.

I made some pasties tonight for dinner. They are in the oven right now and they smell pretty good. I couldn't find a rutabaga (swede) or even turnips at the store near me so I used a carrot instead. It always seems that I'll constantly see something in a store until I need it then I can't find it.

You're so mean!!!!! LOL

Mind sharing your pasty recipe? I've never managed to perfect the pastry in my meager attempts (but granted, I don't have a very good kitchen for it).

Brush the pastry lightly with eggwhite, it turns it crisp and golden brown.

Do you want the entire recipe, or just the pastry part? Because I have to let you know that I cheat and use refrigerated Pillsbury pastry.
