Good to go - thanks. That's more than I needed. Realized it was this typo that tripped me up:
He staggers briefly, momentarily stunned, as his attackers makes a getaway down a cross alley.
'Twas 'attackers' that confused me for a moment...thought I'd missed something. Thanks for the synopsis anyway, though.

That should be +4 for felonius, not +3 :)

That'll probably be all from me until sometime early next week, so have a blast everyone

p.s. Ghost - if it's any consolation, I share your disdain for soap operas. I picked that genre on a whim, because it's the first one that occured to me after reading Felonius' post. An angle popped into my head, and I promptly ran with it. Elapsed time - about 20-30 mins. Easy stuff. :P

Entertaining +1 (if you like making fun of Palmer)
Hey, I dished just as much indirect abuse at "Gard", whom Felonius probably intended to be a backhanded reference to moi ... given the similarities in names and the segue in perspectives & posting genres. :P

Hey, anagram-pseudonyms are a time honored tradition in writing ... it was fairly obvious to me, although others might have missed it :P

Kahrey - damn! Remind me never to go on a nojshe trip with you, girl! At least now we know why you're dressed in red, huh? :)

I really liked your 'liquid moonlight' metaphor! :thumb: Do you know a singer named Leonard Cohen? He's got a lyric that goes: "On our bed where the moon has been sweating..." Keep playing around with mixing solids and liquids and light in your descriptions - that kind of stuff can be really powerful.

P.S good call: Gard = Brad. Wasn't sure how comfortable he'd be writing about himself in the third. Can see now it was a baseless concern.

I don't even want to guess at the subtext going on between he and Kilt in that last post.... :)

It's all yours Aunflin. I'm heading out on the town to see if I can't get myself into some mischief (it's 11 PM here now).

Look forward to reading your post tomorrow - that is, if I am still able to read, or for that matter, still resemble human form.

Well, there's me post. Couldn't figure out which genre to write in...so I guess I'll lose a point for that :( But what the hey! This is for fun, right?
