Beauty Of Malice

[Music and Lyrics by Graveworm]

Turned to the hours of deepest despair
Ancient mystic world surrounds my mind
Hear the sweetest symphonies, betrayed by own dreams
Temptation of the beauty, I have tasted her tears
I?ve tasted her tears
She filled my dreams, surrounds be her grace
The gift of their life runs slowly through my veins
By darkness seducted, her cold veil of death
Malicious beauty, obsession of my sins
Craving hands crawls in my neck
I reached the throne of death
I kiss and embrace the dreaming
Devils dance by her side
Embrace the flowers of fall
Drops of blood falls from my hand
I hear the song of the dying ones
Rapes my sin of life
I feel the end of life
Your look stained my soul
I see the dance of flames
Losing my existence
I see the darkness falling on my skin
The cold hand of the beauty might
The claws of death crushes my mind
I raise my hands toward the sky
The kiss of my life and the kiss of my death
Embraced by the stigma of her sweetest voice
Bewitched the sense of the faith to my god
Disarmed the fear of all pain have to come

Black metal with touches of doom and gothic metal. Quite lovely.
The penis mighter than the sword.

Gwar - Immortal Corrupter

Centuries of carnage
Centuries of chaos yet unfolding
A planet built on bone
Spinning in a space
Unmolded

Armies are arrayed
Like toys on tabletops it's almost funny
Bodies raped and flayed
The sea is red with blood the sky is sunny

Immortal!
Corrupter!

Your entrails are displayed
Upon a rack we break the bones within you
Your fighters are dismayed and wonder if it is wise to continue
To resist my will
The babies that I bake fill a volcano
I'm clogging up the kill
My wretched baby paste requires Drano

I'm out of my mind
Immortal Corrupter
Malignance defined
Chew the womb, seal the tomb, leave the dead behind
Immortal Corrupter
Dagger of the mind

The betrayer is enraged
His mask is gone his crimson hauberk cloven
His brains they are arrayed
Amongst the ruin of the lies he'd spoken

Immortal!
Corrupter!

And if I was a sperm
I'd consecrate my germ and then continue
And if I was a worm
I'd find a way that I could crawl up in you

Crawl up in you!

And if I was a sperm...
Immortal!
And if I was a worm...
Corrupter!
If I was a sperm, if I was a germ...

I'm out of my mind
Immortal Corrupter
Malignance defined
Immortal Corrupter
Dagger of the mind
This is a funny metal band I discovered yesterday. They dress up in really crazy costumes and act really silly. Apparently they are aliens. Teeheehee. They are pretty good though!

Judging from the lyrics of the song, I think they ARE aliens!

Heh heh.

If I were a worm, I would aspire to crawl into a bottle of tequila!

Heh heh.
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Wandering through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, no fear or danger
In that bright land
To which I go

Hey, maybe this thread should be split. It doesn't really have anything to do with it's title. Maybe it could be changed to a general one on song lyrics or something?

Apparently ECM has never seen Beavis and Butthead.
In the 60’s, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

Do Gwar feature in Bevis and Butthead?

I saw it once when I was younger, but the only thing I can remember is one of them asking, "Is this a god-damn?" when they were touring a hydro-eletric plant.

Iced Earth - Travel In Stygian

[Music: Schaffer / Lyrics: Schaffer]

Through the flames I watch
As you plead on your knees
The reaper awaits

The ride that you take
Through the lake, lake of flames
Will decide your fate

Was all of it worth eternal pain
The path you chose to live in vain
The river Styx is calling your number
The hot winds of Hell breathe your name

[Bridge]

On the night that it came to me
It was like nothing I'd ever seen
A vision darker than death itself
A violent cloud straight from the depths of hell
And that's when I saw my destiny
As it approached I was frozen still
I couldn't move, couldn't scream for help
Out of the darkness it reached for me
And that's when it planted the evil seed
And that's when I saw my destiny

[Chorus]

Travel in Stygian
The damned scream my name
Travel in Stygian
I can't repent it's too late
Travel in Stygian
Hot winds blow upon me
Travel in Stygian
No remorse it's too late

[Bridge]

The henchman awaits you
Yes that's right, step aboard
We have a very long journey
You owe us
You got what you wanted
In your mortal life
Now your soul is in our grasp
It's time

Riding on the hot winds of hell
Traveling down in the ship of pain
I chose this fate no turning back
The river Styx has called for me.
I love this song!!

Probably my favorite song by In Flames. I saw Anders Frieden (singer) kinda just leaning against the wall with all his dreadlocks looking all painful and I walked up to him and started talking to him. I told him that Square Nothing was my favorite song and he said with very little Swedish accent "Thank you. I appreciate that. Too bad we aren't playing it tonight."

hehe, what a cool dickhead.

Ok, here goes:

Square Nothing by In Flames

For all the times you left me bleeding
Clouded, weakend by the haze
Cut off my pride, enough to forgive
Reconcile, back to square nothing

It seems I lost my direction
Don't have the strength to let it slip
Have no desire for the shore
Just let me play here for some time

Spent some quality time with the demon of mine
(He said) "I like the way you struggle, but you know, I'm here to win"
Spent some quality time with my borrowed smile
The gleam is replaced, rip me open and erase me

Is this how I want to spend my days?
Shadowed, it fears me, my utopia
Try to find some peace to destroy
These are my sins, I'm heading to fall
Never understood though I accepted
All the weakness that I discover
You gave me a place to hide and lost the key
Drowned my head just to see it sink (to the bottom)

Spent some quality time with the demon of mine
He said "I like the way you struggle but you know I'm here to win"
Spent some quality time with my borrowed smile
The gleam is replaced, rip me open and erase me

Spent some quality time with the demon of mine
"I like the way you struggle but you know I'm here to win"
Spent some quality time with my borrowed smile
The gleam is replaced, rip me open and erase me

I thought I'd post this in here as well, seeing as this is the place it'll actually get read.

Sawao Yamanaka, The #1 Buster wrote:The Pillows- bokura no HAREE suisei (our halley's comet)

Just for now
For a little, I'll keep my promise from before
Even when things get painful or sad
Even when the tears fall, let's stay together
Skipping around like a child
I'll probably stumble a lot
But I'll never let go of your hand
It'll be all right

Together we watched the shooting stars
And I make my one wish once again

Until the day that Halley's comet
Shows its shadow to us once again
I always, always want to be with you

If you should notice too
Forget the way we laughed so innocently just now
By some chance even I'll be broken
And probably can't sing
In time the day will come
For this spinning star to sleep
But it's no lie
I'll always need you

Do you suppose a witch rides upon it?
I wish upon that strange broom-like star

Until the day that Halley's comet
Shows its shadow to us once again
I always, always want to be with you

Together we watched the shooting stars
And I make my one wish once again

Until the day that Halley's comet
Shows its shadow to us once again
I always, always want to be with you
"Explanation is not an escape from suffering."

Metallica - ...And Justice For All

Halls of Justice Painted Green
Money Talking
Power Wolves Beset Your Door
Hear Them Stalking
Soon You'll Please Their Appetite
They Devour
Hammer of Justice Crushes You
Overpower

The Ultimate in Vanity
Exploiting Their Supremacy
I Can't Believe the Things You Say
I Can't Believe
I Can't Believe the Price You Pay
Nothing Can Save You

Justice Is Lost
Justice Is Raped
Justice Is Gone
Pulling Your Strings
Justice Is Done
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real

Apathy Their Stepping Stone
So Unfeeling
Hidden Deep Animosity
So Deceiving
Through Your Eyes Their Light Burns
Hoping to Find
Inquisition Seeking You
With Prying Minds

The Ultimate in Vanity
Exploiting Their Supremacy
I Can't Believe the Things You Say
I Can't Believe
I Can't Believe the Price You Pay
Nothing Can Save You

Justice Is Lost
Justice Is Raped
Justice Is Gone
Pulling Your Strings
Justice Is Done
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real

Lady Justice Has Been Raped
Truth Assassin
Rolls of Red Tape Seal Your Lips
Now You're Done in
Their Money Tips Her Scales Again
Make Your Deal
Just What Is Truth?
I Cannot Tell
Cannot Feel

The Ultimate in Vanity
Exploiting Their Supremacy
I Can't Believe the Things You Say
I Can't Believe
I Can't Believe the Price We Pay
Nothing Can Save You

Justice Is Lost
Justice Is Raped
Justice Is Gone
Pulling Your Strings
Justice Is Done
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real

That's back when Metallica didn't suck.

Ahhh, the memories, the smell of wet demin and stale cigarette smoke, the stupid mullets and shoulder tapping. Those were the days.

Here's another of my favorite bands. This song is a great song to listen to when you're depressed.

The video of this song is linked in the margins forum somewhere in a thread I started. :P

ok, first the song link:

http://www.evergrey.net/downloads/Everg ... Within.zip

Solitude Within
Cold is the air that I breath
sleepless
but I don't mind the rain
With fear I strive
but still enjoying the pain
I'm awaiting the dawn
as I welcome the end

If you ever felt the way that I feel
helpless
and help is all you need
In tears you try
but there is no way
no way you can win
Solitude Within

Cold
but I don't mind the rain
Fear of...

My heart is pounding
never so frightened
My body's trembling
I'm dying
Dying

Cold
but I don't mind the rain
Fear of
Being alone again

All I ever wished for
was a vengeance on solitude
And all I ever longed for...
The presence of you

Cold
but I don't mind the rain
Fear of
being alone again
Cold
but I don't mind the rain
fear of
Solitude Within

I particularly like the line "All I ever wished for was a vengeance on solitude."

Enjoy

There's that damn dialup rearing its ugly head again.

Is there a library near you with broadband and a CD burner?

What about school?

A library? Near here? Yeah 45 minutes away, and no CD burner....

At school? I live at school.

We have a CD burner, but it's for the other computer that got wrecked with Kerry's car.

The burner hardly matters if you can only connect via dialup.

That's like trying to write War and Peace by first having to manufacture each drop of ink one at a time before putting it to paper.

You need to move. You can always go back home once you're a grandma.

I can't believe I haven't posted this one before. It is one of the few commercial songs I like. This is one of the songs I put on the soccer team's pre-game warmup CD.

This one definitely requires the music to get the feel of the lyrical rhythm.

Click. Click. Boom!

On those Saturdays, when kids go out and play,
Yo I was up in my room I let the stereo blaze
Wasn’t faded, not jaded,
Just a kid with a pad and pen and a big imagination.
All this, I seek, I find
I push the envelope to the line.
Make it, break it, take it, until I’m overrated.

Click, Click Boom.
I’m coming down on the stereo, hear me on the radio.
Click, click boom.
I’m coming down with the new style and you know it’s buck wild.
Click, Click Boom
I’m on the radio station touring round the nation,
Leaving the scene in devastation.

I can see it in my mind,
I can see it in their eyes.
It’s close enough to touch it now,
But far away enough to die.

Click, Click Boom.

What the hell is wrong with me?
My mom and dad weren’t perfect,
But still you don’t hear no cryin ass bitchin from me,
Like there seems to be on everybody’s CD.
So just sit back and relax
And let me have your head for a minute,
I can show you something in it,
that has yet to be presented.

Oh yeah!

Repeat Chorus

Why have I clouded up my mind?
Why’s my mother always right?
And will I make it to the end
Or will I crawl away and die?

Click, Click Boom.
Click, Click Boom.
Click, Click Boom.
Click, Click Boom.

On those Saturday when kids go out and play
Yo I was up in my room I let the stereo blaze
On Saturdays when kids go out and play,
I was up in my room I let the stereo blaze
Its all inside of me,
Its all inside of me.
It’s coming over me.
It’s all inside of me,
It’s all inside my head.

Click, Click Boom
I’m coming down on the stereo hear me on the radio.
Click Click Boom
I’m comin down with the new style you know it’s buck wild.
Everybody, Everybody come on.

Death - To Forgive Is To Suffer

Throughout our time a thought
escapes us to enforce a word, no
holding on to pain it may seem to some

The easy way to say o.k., twist your
knife a little deeper
words to sharp actions dark
hide the blade of the deceiver.

Enforce the words no more, be free
alone you might just find serenity.

To accept another day we choose
to give away another piece of life
to forgive is to suffer

[Solo Schuldiner]

Once or twice is kind
three or four is blind
it is not the end yet a way to begin
the power of words both good and bad.
One of the original death metal bands (thus the name Death). I feel guity that I hadn't've heard of these guys before now. Damn, they are AWESOME! But, um, the frontman (vocalist and lead guitarist), Chuck Schuldiner died of a brain tumour almost 4 years ago. That sucks. This guy is the one of the best guitarists I've heard in a long time. He is the MAN! Or was...
