Edda of Burdens

Post by Elizabeth Bear »

A periApocalyptic Norse noir steampunk high/low fantasy trilogy forthcoming from Tor starting in Fall of 2008.

This features, among others, the characters who appear in my short stories "Ice" and "The Devil You Don't," which are available on my web page for free.

I would call this Zelaznyesque, as it features the adventures of three angsty and sexually confused immortals over a perioud of about 2500 years.

(Cover art as soon as I have some.)

Book titles:

All the Windwracked Stars
By the Mountain Bound
The Sea thy Mistress

I liked both "Ice" and "The Devil You Don't," and "periApocalyptic Norse noir steampunk high/low fantasy" sounds like something right up my alley. This will go near the top of my "to be read" pile.

And I promise my spelling is better in the book than in that post.

"Perioud?"

Sounds like a beverage composed of Perrier and Pernod...
