You mean, to buy? Neither! It does not keep! I always buy it in chunks, and slice or grate it at the last minute.

Usually before, albeit with a LOT of caveats (i.e., species, environment it came from, freshness, who's preparing it, and how).

Poor & insecure but happy, or fiscally sufficient but utterly miserable ?

I don't believe you can be secure and miserable so someone else answer that one.

Question clarified ... although the distinction was merely one of degree, not validity.

fiscally sufficient but utterly miserable (I would have taken the former but the word insecure put me off)

The only thing worse than the evil rich is the evil poor.

Not a verbatim quote but that was the essence of it - from Les Misérables... I think

I wont' ever knowingly dive into freezing water, so: unknowingly.

Swimming pool water: a trifle too cold or a trifle too warm?

a trifle too warm

(I went swimming once when the sun was searing hot but the only problem was that the pool was shaded by a tall building. At no time did the sun even get close to the pool. Needless to say that the baby-pool was crammed with adults and kids since it was not shaded)

Thanks for the quote Voralfred, I could not find my copy of the book

Traditional.

(Although, I'm kind of watching the foldable ones to see if they can come up with something workable.)

The former, without question.

Preferred condiment for fries: ketchup or other (i.e., malt vinegar, or my fave ... garlic aioli).

Chronic pain regardless of position but you have plenty of books to read, or ... feeling great physically but you can't get ahold of any books.

Ever had a kidney stone? That has no painless position? Anything but that! Without a book, I can reminisce books I read and loved. But only if I can concentrate on them. No book, however interesting, can distract you from pain.

Being scared of spiders. You're far more likely to have spiders in your world than heights.

Be VERY sick on your birthday or have to work 16 hour days the entire week of your birthday?
