Goblins are puny, and even orcs aren't a really serious pest unless they have the advantage of darkness & surprise and/or they outnumber you by atleast 2:1. Orogs are a bit more challenging - they're half orc, half ogre. Think of the urukhai that Jackson used in LOTR, and then give them an extra 1-2HD, scavenged armor, and an average minimum strength of 16+, and you'll have the general idea.
